2 Days 1 Night Cruise to Isla de la Plata
Join us for this special 2 Day 1 Night cruise from Bahia de Caraquez to Isla de la Plata and Puerto Lopez. The Southern Star leaves at 7am arriving at Isla de la Plata by noon. We provide a Buffet Breakfast enroute. The trip to Isla De La Plata is about 5 hours. We will have a light lunch then disembark to the Island. You can choose from taking the 3 hour trek along the trails ending at a spectacular view of the pacific. Diving with a local Dive operator, Kayaking, or snorkeling. Endangered species of birds live on the Island under the protection of the reserve. You will see Blue Footed Boobies, Pelicans, Albatross, Frigate Birds and more. Not into hiking? Well, enjoy some snorkeling or just hanging out on the beach or sun deck. Then we are off to Puerto Lopez, a short 2 hour cruise. We will have special dinner onboard, and then we go ashore to enjoy the Saturday night activities.
In the morning we have breakfast and head out for the trip home enjoying the views of the coast and in season we will enjoy Whale Watching. We will drop a couple lines in the water an hope for a big one! By early evening we get home and disembark at Puerto Amistad
